My name i s Evan Miles, owner o f Bluestem Farms LLC. I have been farming in Queen Anne's
County, Maryland for over 40 years, starting i n business for myself i n 2003 after working a t
the same farm for more than 2 0 years prior to that, starting i n 1985. I a m writing this letter

After meeting Biglon representatives at the Commodity Classic Ag Expo I reached out t o
my local rep (Chris Owens) who lives i n Virginia and covers the Mid-Atlantic region. With
Biglron's strong Mid-West agriculture presence I knew I would be able t o pit local bidders
with farmers from many other states and countries. W e completed a partial sale in March
2025 achieving 107% of price target with winning buyers from as far away as lowa and
Ukraine. Then in December of 2025 we finished with a retirement sale, selling 60 items and
exceeding price performance t o achieve 103%. We had 172 bidders i n 46 states.
Chris was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process. From the initial
meeting, advising m e on the equipment make-ready, and thoroughly completing the
inspections, getting good pictures, specs, and condition reports, Chris communicated well
and put m e a t ease throughout the timeline. The marketing o f the sale really paid off as well
- that is what puts Bigiron above the rest. We advertised in The Delmarva Farmer, ran a
banner ad on Bigiron's site, and provided for an on-site preview day for local bidders. With
over 800,000 registered users, they reached a ton o f bidders easily paying for themselves. I
am very pleased with the results.
