At BigIron and Sullivan Auctioneers, our Independent Sales Representatives do more than just connect buyers and sellers – they support and uplift their communities. Craig Sitzman, a BigIron representative since 2021, is a shining example of that commitment. Craig is stepping up in a big way by listing a 1941 GMC CC101 Fire Pickup in the Sullivan Auctioneers two-day, timed online, no-reserve Collector Car Auction on March 3 and 4. All proceeds from the sale of this outstanding vehicle—including his sales commission—will directly benefit the Broadwater Volunteer Fire Department in Broadwater, Nebraska.

“This really means a lot to me,” Craig shared. “A lot of these guys on the volunteer board are my customers— they’re farmers and ranchers, and they aren’t paid anything for their time to help protect their community. I think it’s important to step up support them. I’m glad BigIron can support them in their mission.”
Craig’s generosity will directly impact the Broadwater Volunteer Fire Department, helping them purchase a much-needed ambulance and other lifesaving equipment. A typical ambulance can cost anywhere between $100,000 -$250,000 , depending on the features, model, and whether it's new or used; with newer, more advanced models potentially reaching higher price points. Broadwater is just one of Nebraska’s 449 Volunteer Fire Departments, with 18 dedicated volunteers who answer the callday and nightto extinguish fires, respond to vehicle accidents and hazardous material incidents, provide rescue and ambulance services, search for missing persons, and assist their neighbors in times of crisis.
BigIron is proud to have Craig on our team and to support efforts that strengthen our communities. If you’re passionate about collector vehicles and want to support a great cause, be sure to register to bid in the upcoming Collector Car Auction. Your participation can make a real difference.
